Rosemary J. Peel

Hi, my name is Rosemary Peel. I am English and live in the county of West Yorkshire. I am married, have two grown-up children and four grandchildren.

An author of many year's standing, I have recently branched out into e-books. At the present time I have 17 e-books available from Smashwords and Kindle. My latest children's book, The Fluff Gang and the New Neighbour, has recently been uploaded to both.

Having been born dyslexic myself, in an age before the condition was recognised, but having overcome it sufficiently enough to become an author and also to have run several successful businesses before retirement, I decided to write about it from a personal standpoint, in the hope that it might help others to appreciate that having it is not nececessarily as devastating as it may first appear. Several of my main-stream titles, although out of print, can periodically be picked up over the internet. I write in several different genres; children's fiction, both for early readers who still prefer being read to and for the 10's to 15's + older age range; also adult romantic sagas, poetry and astrological books.

I also enjoy painting, mostly in oils and mainly for pleasure.
